Support that works alongside family

Familiar people who know the routine

More room for life beyond the family home

What may be happening right now

Family is still family. It should not have to be the entire support system.

Many families have been helping for so long that the support has become part of ordinary life. Someone cooks dinner, drives to appointments, remembers medication, does the washing, sorts out problems, organises the week and makes sure there is something to do on the weekend.

Support can be part of ordinary life at home, creating room for everyone to share it.

What Crew support can actually look like

Support that works alongside the people who already care.

Our role is not to come in and push family out. It is to build a bigger, more sustainable support network around the participant, at a pace that makes sense.

Taking pressure off the week

Regular, dependable help with the ordinary things that otherwise always fall back on family.

  • Appointments, errands and transport
  • Shopping, cooking and household tasks
  • Exercise, community activities and weekly routines

Building everyday independence

Small steps can become meaningful freedom over time.

  • Choosing a meal, making a list and cooking together
  • Learning one familiar bus route
  • Managing parts of a calendar or routine

Creating a life outside the family

Support can open up more than a list of practical jobs.

  • Friends, clubs, gym and hobbies
  • Volunteering or working towards employment
  • Happy Dayz, Venture Dayz and new experiences

Creating consistency

The people around someone should feel familiar, not random.

  • A small, consistent Crew
  • People who know routines and preferences
  • People the participant and family can trust

You can still be Mum, Dad, family or friend without having to be the entire support system.

We are not there to replace family. We are there to help create a stronger, more sustainable life around the participant.

Find the practical next step
