What is Supported Independent Living?
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS-funded support that helps people with disability live as independently as possible in a shared or individual home environment. SIL funding covers the cost of the support workers who assist you in your home — not the rent or living costs themselves.
At The Happiness Crew, our SIL home is more than just a place to live. It's a community. Residents are connected to our full events calendar, have access to regular outings and social activities, and are supported by a team that genuinely cares about their wellbeing and goals.
We work with participants, their families, and their support coordinators to develop individualised support plans that reflect each person's goals, preferences, and needs.

Absolutely. Family involvement is encouraged and welcomed. We work closely with families to ensure residents feel supported and connected to the people who matter most to them.

All residents have full access to The Happiness Crew's events calendar — Happy Dayz, Venture Dayz, Crew Dayz, and our Respite & Travel adventures. We also run regular outings and social activities from the home.
